Renanse said...: Advice? Well, I think everyone has their own way of learning. I learn best by doing though and for others like that I would recommend starting small. Think about simple software, games, etc. that you enjoy using (minesweeper or solitaire for example) and try to write your own. Don't be afraid to ask questions on public forums, but always make sure you spend some time thinking about the problem first so you can ask in an informed way.
